The FitBar FP-5.3 Triceps Extension Rope attachment is one of the most ergonomic triceps ropes available. Triceps ropes are used both commercial gyms and home gyms that have cable machines or cable pulleys on their squat rack / pull up bar. The FP-5.3 is different than standard triceps ropes in that is uses a large, 3” diameter ball at the end of the rope as opposed to the standard flat end. The flat end concentrates load on your pinky finger, which can be uncomfortable at higher loads (the remaining load is transferred through your grip). Our rope allows you to place your entire hand over the ball, distributing the load across your open hand. This arrangement will help work your grip and forearm strength as you work your triceps

The FP-5.3 Triceps Extension Rope incorporates is smaller than a standard triceps rope, but it is high-quality and is high-capacity (5000 lb tensile strength). The flexibility of the rope allows you to get as wide or narrow as you wish without resistance.

When used in conjunction with a cable pulley or cable machine, this cable attachment can be used to do many triceps exercises. With the pulley at the high-position when facing the pulley, you can do triceps pull downs, and when facing away from the pulley, triceps extensions. With the pulley at the mid position, you can perform seated cable rows, or with just one handle in hand, a triceps kickback. With the pulley at the low position and facing the cable pulley, you can do hammer curls.
